Any blockages can cause numerous problems, dampness within your home/property and even cause problems with the foundation of a property, if neglected.
We carry out gutter inspections, cleaning and upgrade gutters and downpipes, if deemed necessary.
A quick cleaning to unblock the leaves and debris was all that was required (images below). However, since it was left, the job ended up being bigger, due to the problems of dampness the blocked gutter caused. It is better to have the gutters inspected, cleaned and repaired or replaced to avoid bigger costs through neglect. Don't let this happen to you!
Heavy rainfall and the gutter couldn't cope, this was down to leaves and debris blocking the gutter and preventing the rain water from flowing through the system. All that was required was cleaning the leaves and debris from the gutter to allow the water to flow freely. A quick simple job.
The rain overflowed from the blocked gutter and penetrated the wall and brickwork. This caused damp patches on the ceiling and the wall all the way down to the skirting board. Unfortunately, since it wasn't spotted early enough the plaster etc. had to be stripped back from the ceiling and wall, replaced and re-painted.
